A Journey Into Another Time: Kumiscacing Release “Giant Fish”

Sumatra - Indonesian musical entity, Kumiscacing, officially initiates the release phase of its newest conceptual music project, "Austronesia", with the launch of the track "Giant Fish" after continuing from their debut release "oCD". This latest work offers an exploration of vintage psych/indie sounds strongly infused with the nuances of southern beach waves.

"Giant Fish" serves as a medium for a mystical journey across time dimensions back to 1500BCE . Through this track, listeners are taken to the midst of an open, uncharted ocean, tracing the epic final migration of the expedition that became the embryo of the Malay nation. This journey spread from the coasts of Taiwan, explored the Nusantara seas, and ultimately established the foundation of Malay culture in Jambi and Sumatra today.

"Giant Fish" lyrics was not born from a conventional paper based routine. It was only completed following a metaphysical experience that immersed Kumiscacing in past tales of a grandfather figure, meeting to provide answers to haunting questions.
